About Me
I am an assistant professor of Computer Engineering at Sharif University of Technology-International Campus (SUTIC). I received my M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Sharif University of Technology in 2011 and 2017, respectively. During my Ph.D., I worked on a project to model performance analysis of 802.11p protocol for Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) under the supervision of Dr. Ali Mohammad Afshin Hemmatyar. To this aim, I developed a network model for VANETs and introduced the obligatory attachment rule to network science literature. I showed that the networks formed in VANETs present significant structural characteristics.
Moreover, I coined the graph-based performance analysis of the 802.11p protocol for VANETs. In 2018, I joined the SUTIC and was appointed as the Dean of the computer engineering department. Currently, I am broadly interested in machine learning, data science and artificial intelligence, including the following topics:
- Machine Learning on Graphs
- Graph Neural Networks
- Natural Language Proceesing
- Stock and Financial Data Prediction
